Comment: About 10 years ago Savannah Luggage Works was shocked to learn that a claw back, a term we had never heard before, was being filed against our little company for $1.6 million. A charge of that amount would have definitely put Savannah Luggage Works out of business and thrown several hundred people out of work, in a area that needs jobs badly. Through a friend, I was able to meet Jill Rice ( no relation ) and she took an immediate interest in our situation, to include calming me down. When I needed to talk she was there, she followed up on all the details, and was a pleasure to work with in a difficult situation. The matter was resolved, as the claw back was denied.
