Comment: Wow…When I received my speeding ticket, anxiety and fear washed over me. Getting a 115 in a 75 is fast, and more importantly followed with 4 points on my license…Being a 20 year old who pays for my insurance, keeping the points down were my biggest priority, as the cost of living, gas, and school expenses are already terrible as is and would like to keep my insurance premiums as low as possible.Having no references, I took to google in search of an attorney who would best represent my case, and decided to work with Ms. Simmons after reading the wonderful reviews stating that she was able to keep points down and in turn save me money in the future.After patiently waiting and giving Ms. Simmons time to work, she was able to get my 25mph+ that followed with 4 points down to 0 points!!!I can get on board 100% with everyone else on this thread talking about how amazing Ms. Simmons truly is.Thank you again.. I consider myself a very safe driver but that morning I was going with the flow of traffic and apparently clocked going over the speed limit . I was written up for 1 pt 1-5 . Rather than have my insurance rates go up, I decided to reach out to Ms. Simmons to help with this matter. I had 1 ticket with 3 different citations on it : ( 3 point disobey traffic signal, 2 point improper lane use, and 0 point texting while driving). She got rid of all 5 points and was able to bring down the fine for the ticket as well! I was skeptical and in a tough spot financially to pay any extra fees for a lawyer, but she is SO worth spending the money. Comment: I hired Kathryn to represent me on a ticket I got for leaving the scene of an accident after my car slid off a dirt road. She was able to negotiate with the prosecutor to get my original charge that carried six points down to a lesser charge that carried zero points. I also misspoke during my hearing and Kathryn quickly cleared that up with the judge and kept things on track. The money I spent on her defense pales in comparison to what I wouldve paid in added insurance premium with those six points on my license. I’ve had a clean driving record and I was so upset because I was worried that my insurance rates would go up, and I didn’t want to have points on my record. A friend told me to hire an attorney. I was concerned about the cost, but I did some research and found Kathryn. When I spoke with her, she said she was sure she could help me to get my ticket reduced. She was very professional and explained the process going forward. She fought to get my ticket reduced to 0 points! When I was pulled over, I couldn’t find my proof of insurance in my glove box because I was so upset. I ended up finding it after the ticket had already been written. I was looking at another fine because of that. I sent Kathryn my proof of insurance and she got that dismissed. I didn’t have much hope until I called Kathryn. Her fee was very affordable, and not what I was expecting to have to pay. She called me immediately after the hearing to tell me that she negotiated my ticket down to 0 points! Comment: I’ve always considered myself a lucky person, I’ve had my share of breaks in life when it comes traffic violations I just didn’t expect more luck than I’ve already had in my 40+ years driving. My wife said get an attorney for a point related ticket, I must say this, attorney Catherine Simmons has done an amazing job I highly recommend you seek her out and see if she can help you!Having a good driving record pays off in more ways than one. Many times they won’t issue a ticket or give you a break by giving the no point ticket if you’ve got a good record. Not to mention the insurance fees and how they (insurance companies) like to stick it to us for just one ticket! Over the years I’ve found out how quickly they (tickets) can rack up! The fines are one thing but premiums are like throwing your money away because of a few points. Because of Attorney Simmons I’ll be point free using my hard earned money for whatever I choose! For just $200 dollars on a 3 point $250 dollar fine ticket she was able to negotiate a lesser infraction ticket, only $125 fine and no points! Now 3 points over just 2 years would have been an additional $1200 in my premiums not to mention the time and hassle of renegotiating my premiums again just to keep them from charging more money! I had a brief lapse of judgement and was texting while driving. The Michigan State Trooper overcharged me with Careless Driving instead of what I was responsible for.
