Comment: Thanks for your help! Other law firms we spoke to wanted double the retainer to fight these charges when all we wanted to do was make it right and move on with our lives. We called hoping that we could plead guilty, pay restitution, and get a stay of adjudication. We were also told that was a very unlikely scenario as well and our best bet was to threaten to go to trial to get the best plea deal. Instead, John helped us clear the matter up without the need to make any in person appearance and got the charges completely dropped within 30 days.
