I actually found him on google and later received a recommendation from another friend and he couldn’t have been more correct about Heath and his team! Comment: We were confronted with a situation no parent wants, false accusations of sexual harassment. But not just that, our child was 10. Our son’s story never changed, however the ‘victim’ story fluctuated. As parents who have seen a lot during career work, we were not willing to allow for an unguided allowance of the schools investigation. We searched out legal teams for this issue, to which we found to be minimal in comparison to other areas of law. After interviewing two firms, one a rabid dog, the other a well behaved guard dog, we opted for that guard dog. Tessa was amazing at explaining the process, keeping us informed of procedural irregularities or just being receptive to the nonsense put on paper by this school district. We were able to point out and complete some work on our own to keep the billable hours to what we needed Tessa to complete in regards to legal matters, but our involvement was more informational pointing out the inconsistencies of the school’s investigation. Tessa completed all needed work timely and her involvement did not extend the process, even when the school messed up and caused delay. Each person we dealt with at SBBL was courteous and kind. Payment was easy and connecting with our team was flawless! Due to the diligent work of Tessa and her team, we had the decision of Not Responsible, which was touch and go with how the school handled the investigation! I was a complete wreck to say the least, We knew of no attorneys in Michigan so l had to put my complete faith in this man l never met. He had my families lives in his hands. He responded to me very quickly, gave me great advice before I even hired him. He filled us in on what the bogus charges against them were and went straight to work. We never even had to go to trial and he convinced the prosecutor of my childrens innocence and got all of the charges dropped. Which is almost unheard of. Comment: Mike Bartish is an astounding attorney. He didnt just help me file paperwork to fight the CSC charges, he walked me through the process every step of the way. Although I was falsely accused, I have too much to risk in a public trial so Mike helped me weigh the options. I ended up taking a plea deal which best fit my case even when he expressed immense confidence in his preparation for the trial. Since the first minute of consultation, Mike completely understood my situation and believed in my innocence. There wasnt a single day that I felt like I should be worried about my legal representation. Some nights, I had big questions that were weighing down my mind as last as 10pm. Whenever I called, he answered. I felt as though I was his only client with the amount of attention I was given. It was incredible that even though the plea was a decent settlement, some of the last words said to me were something like, whichever option you choose, know that I will still gladly take this to trial. The plea deals offered earlier involved prison and sex offender registration. Im glad Mike was there to tell me that I shouldnt give into the prosecutors supposed final offers. He made it clear to the prosecutor that their offers were ridiculous and that he was more than ready to take this case to trial if thats all they were going to offer. Aside from the direct contact with the prosecutor (which I saw one time, thanks to Mike), he filed several motions to chip away at the prosecutors assault case. Every court date, I would start the day nervously but would walk away from the courthouse more calm than the previous day. Mike Bartish handled my case very well. Im confident that he can handle any other case just the same.

Comment: I rarely write reviews. A service has to either be pretty bad, or done extremely well. I was so thankful that this service was top notch. Unfortunately my father had a once in a lifetime bad night, with bad choices, and a family that has never seen the likes of barely a traffic stop was now facing a possible felony with misdemeanors and jail/prison time. To say we were scared and nervous would be an understatement. After crawling the internet for criminal law lawyers in the area, we went and scheduled appointments with 3 different highly ranked lawyers, Heath Lynch being one of the 3. With some visits with the other lawyers, we chose to go with Heath. He had the skill of really putting in-depth situations and choices into laymen terms, and just simply put us at ease. This guy knows his stuff, and it’s clearly evident. He always made us calm and it was laid out at the very beginning that he was a text or phone call away if we had another question or concern. If you are reading this- that is huge, and we tested it. He passes that test with flying colors. I can’t stress that enough. Comment: I had an assault case pending and part of my bond was to get an alcohol tether or remote breath test set up. i could not get any help from the probation department or the person i was suppose to contact originally. after talking with a few different attorneys i spoke to heath told him the details of my case and what i was looking for. he told me what he thought he could do and past cases he had similar to mine. I stood accused of a violent felony and was facing years in prison. As a former Federal prosecutor, Heath possessed a unique insight into not only how to properly mount a defense but into the actions of the prosecution as well. This served to make me feel much more reassured and confident as time and again, one situation after another played out exactly as he predicted it would. Heath mounted a rigorous pre-trial defense, while keeping me well-informed as to his strategy, progress, and likely counter-moves of the prosecution. At every stage of the process I was presented with options and, more importantly, explanations of those options and the consequences thereof. I was facing very serious felony charges for assault and looking at a maximum of 15 years. Comment: I was pulled over for window tint in Newaygo county north west of Grant MI in mid August and arrested for a DUI. At the time I currently had a bench warrant out for a DUI in Oakland county. My lawyer in Oakland county contacted Gary and together they devised a plan to keep me out of jail & with minimal penalties. I was skeptic at first if they would be able to make good on the best case scenarios they described, however during the pre to final sentencing Gary was able to adjust the court hearing dates and my requirements to be there to help my other case in Oakland county. I called him 2 weeks before my sentencing for my other DUI and he was able to move my court date up to accommodate my sentencing. When I arrived for final sentencing I was worried that I might be facing possible jail time and probation in Newaygo but Gary was able to persuade the judge to let me off with nothing more then paying my fines and putting my vehicle on lock down for 90 days. I highly recommend Gary if you are in any type of trouble in north western Michigan, Gary Springstead is a life saver!

Comment: This guy really knows what he is doing. With 15 years of experience in law, that is unsurprising. When I made the first phone call to his office to get a consultation, he dropped a lot of great points on how he could beat my case and why I should go with his firm. At first, they seemed too good to be true and I was suspicious of his points of defense, as I thought he was just trying to sell me on his service but he proved everything he said in the initial consultation as the case progressed. I urge you to at least give him a call for the consultation (particularly if your case is from Electric Forest or a similar event as I know personally that he has won many cases originated from there). He proved his brilliance when he wrote an unbelievably well-written motion to suppress. It was absolutely full of quote after quote, reference after reference. It honestly boggles my mind how he was able to to combine so many relevant sources into one paper. On top of all of his professional qualifications, he is an incredibly understanding person, which is a hard quality to find in most lawyers.
