Comment: Recently, my daughter had a minor auto accident. She identified herself to the other individual involved; however, she panicked and left the scene of the accident prior to the arrival of the police. Due to this, she was charged with a misdemeanor for leaving the scene along with a standard traffic ticket.I thought the charge for the misdemeanor was not accurate/fair (as to intent) because my daughter had given her name to the other driver involved.
